Older Is Better!

Sorry I haven't posted in the last couple of weeks to respond to the cowardly attacks of Wacky Walter Mitty's minions on your hero and mine, Congressman Bill Sali. My computer stopped working, so I had to figure out how to get another one. I was asking some people at work for advice, and this one Anti-Sali Socialist overheard me and said that she had an old computer she could sell me. I was so surprised she said "sell" instead of "barter" (or some other Socialist concept) that I agreed to take a look at it. It turns out that she had this big old Compaq that hadn't been used in something like 5 years. Like all Pro-Sali Patriots, I'm pretty saavy when it comes to making deals, so I had her start it up to make sure it worked, and saw that it had Windows Millenium Edition! I got pretty excited, because I figured she wouldn't have any idea what an antique O/S like this was worth on the secondary market. Not wanting to let this deal get away, I offered her $800 for it... and she took it without even making a counter-offer!

It just goes to show that Anti-Sali Socialists don't have a clue about how valuable the past can be.

Ah, yes, the past when there was a balanced budget and even an excess when Clinton left office (admittedly the only thing he accomplished that was good).
Knowing history is a good thing.
Now to balance this budget?
Make Iraq pay their own bills.
Just think how much money would be available for our schools.

I too love Windows Millenium Edition. I'm sure Congressman Sali uses it, since, as all Republicans know, it's all about ME. The congressman would NEVER throw out Windows; ironically, just the opposite has been suggested by his former peers. I do worry a bit about your computer, however, since Compaq is clearly a French brand. I certainly hope you do what Congressman Sali would do and pronounce it "Compact."

A less patriotic coworker has requested that I ask idgem if Iraq's bills include the reconstruction of their infrastructure destroyed by an invading nation.

If the socialists had their way, we would all be using abacuses to post our blogs. Windows ME is a socialists nightmare. It's no coincidence that Windows ME is perfect in almost every way -- the immutable laws of market competition demand it. Could Bill Gates survive if he marketed an OS that crashes every time I try to use my USB port? Anyway, like I was saying, without the crucible of the free market, we would be stuck with under-priced crap like Linux. How can liberal socialists be so stupid all the time? Why don't they just try and grow a brain for once.
