Congressman Bill Sali is Standing Up to Pelosi again, and he's doing it in a way that even Socialists can support. While RINO Idaho Senator Mike Crappo is only getting people to send in their "stories" of how gas prices are hurting them (without pausing to think of all the poor stockholders in the Patriotic oil companies, who are operating under very small profit margins and making hardly any money at all.) Bill Sali isn't doing a bunch of purposeless whining; he's taking action! He's asking us to send our gas receipts into him, and he'll give them to Pelosi. And we all know why he's doing it. When a Socialist like Pelosi sees a bill, she automatically pays it. That's right, Speaker Pelosi will reimburse us for all the money we pay for gas because of Bill Sali's marvelous plan!
Bill Sali is also showing us how to solve the deficit problem. I know it'll work, because the smartest guy I went to junior high school with, Dale Jacobson, used to use it all the time. He'd say to me, "Bill, can I borrow $20?" I'd say sure, then he's say, "But only give me $10 of it." Later, when I'd ask him for my money back, he'd explain, "Bill, that wouldn't be fair. I owe you $10, right? But you only gave me half of the $20 you promised me, so you owe me $10 too. So, we're even, right?" It didn't make much sense to me then (even after it happened about 15 times), but now I'm finally beginning to understand, thanks to Bill Sali.
Bill Sali finally fought through the Socialist FEC software an submitted his quarterly fundraising report, showing that lots of smart people with lots of money like to give their money to Bill Sali. The campaign reported that it raised $155,000 for the quarter, but Anti-Sali Socialists working for Wacky Walter Mitty claim that he only raised $140,000, because about $15,000 was reimbursements from people that Bill Sali had paid money to earlier. It's clear that Bill Sali is right, because he's always right! This is just Bill Sali's way of showing how he'll eliminate the federal budget deficit. If he can turn $140,000 into $155,000 so easily, imagine what he can do with $1 billion! He'll give it to some business owned by Socialists, then make them give the money back. Like magic, $1 billion has turned into $2 billion in receipts! If he keeps doing that about 10,000 times, he'll have raised $10 trillion to pay off the deficit! I bet he could do that in a weekend, unless he and his crack staff are thwarted by more Socialistic software.

Congressman Bill Sali: Just Like Other Idahoans
Congressman Bill Sali is just like you and me, while his oppponent, Wacky Walter Minnick, is one of those "successful guys" that everyone hates. Want proof? Have you ever had problems with getting a computer to run right? I think most Idahoans don't really like computers, and Bill Sali and his staff are no exception. That's why when Anti-Sali Socialists try to make it seem like it's a bad thing that he hasn't submitted his fundraising data to the Socialist FEC, it just makes true Idaho Patriots admire Bill Sali even more. "Oohh, so Walter Mitty has a competent staff... ewwww", we Patriots say. Bill Sali hires Idahoans just like the ones you work with. Is everyone where you work really good at their job? I bet most people will say that most of their co-workers are pretty much dead weight, and Congressman Bill Sali knows that bringing these people onto his staff makes them someone we can relate to. Bill Sali represents the common man in Idaho.

Congressman Bill Sali Stands Up To Socialists, Hindus
Congressman Bill Sali, who recently added the title "Hero of the Taxpayers" to his previous title of "Hero of the Owyhees", is doing more and more to Stand Up against Pelosi and her plans to destroy America. It's not surprising that Anti-Sali Socialists are trying to get Idahoans to give up more of their hard-earned dollars to elect Wacky Walter Mitty. Like the Pelosi-led Socialists in Congress, Mitty is trying to get people to surrender money to support something that will never work, since everyone knows that Bill Sali will easily win re-election this November.
Bill Sali once again proved his leadership ability in Patriotic causes when he Stood Up To Pelosi in voting against the socialist "Energy Markets Emergency Act of 2008". By casting a principled "No" vote against socialistic control of markets and in favor of public-spirited traders who seek only to practice capitalism as Jesus meant them to, Sali squashed Pelosi's attempt to make it look like the bill had widespread bipartisan support. Had Liberal Larry Grant been elected in 2006, the vote would have been 403-18, instead of the much closer 402-19 we saw. Pelosi is thwarted again!

What I like most about Bill Sali is how he puts his beliefs into action that will change our country, and doesn't just make "symbolic" efforts. To that end, Congressman Sali bravely Stood Up To Pelosi again by signing up on May 6th to co-sponsor H.R. 1146, which would end America's membership in the United Nations. Since this bill now has 4 co-sponsors, and since Rep. Ron Paul, the sponsor, has an unmatched record of getting his bills passed, we know it will become law soon. Bill Sali knows that while the Constitution says that Congress shall pass no law establishing a religion, the Founding Fathers understood that everyone who really mattered was a Christian of some sort, so they're the only ones who should really be speaking in the United States in an official capacity. Seeing Hindus, Muslims, and God knows who else being allowed to speak out against America while on American soil makes all true Patiots really upset, and Bill Sali speaks for them. With Bill Sali on our side, our participation in the United Nations (and all the bad things they have done) will be over soon.

Older Is Better!
Sorry I haven't posted in the last couple of weeks to respond to the cowardly attacks of Wacky Walter Mitty's minions on your hero and mine, Congressman Bill Sali. My computer stopped working, so I had to figure out how to get another one. I was asking some people at work for advice, and this one Anti-Sali Socialist overheard me and said that she had an old computer she could sell me. I was so surprised she said "sell" instead of "barter" (or some other Socialist concept) that I agreed to take a look at it. It turns out that she had this big old Compaq that hadn't been used in something like 5 years. Like all Pro-Sali Patriots, I'm pretty saavy when it comes to making deals, so I had her start it up to make sure it worked, and saw that it had Windows Millenium Edition! I got pretty excited, because I figured she wouldn't have any idea what an antique O/S like this was worth on the secondary market. Not wanting to let this deal get away, I offered her $800 for it... and she took it without even making a counter-offer!
It just goes to show that Anti-Sali Socialists don't have a clue about how valuable the past can be.

Bill Sali Racks Up Two More Wins!
It's been another stellar week for Congressman Bill Sali. First, he easily defeated RINO Matt "Salisbury" Steak by over 1.4 million centivotes, despite attempts by Anti-Sali Socialists to make it look like Steak was more popular than he really was. Pro-Sali Patriot Bryan Fischer has the best analysis: "Bill Sali thumped challenger Matt Salisbury 60%-40%, despite a huge influx of crossover Democrats. A sign of just how many Dems jumped ship to make mischief in the Republican primary: Salisbury actually got more votes than Sali’s November opponent, Walt Minnick, the Democrat running unopposed in his primary.
I think that pretty much all of Steak's 27,252 votes came from Democrats and other Socialists, so it's clear that Bill Sali win easily defeat Walter Mitty in November, since Steak's votes combined with Mitty's are probably a lot less than what Bill Sali got.
The Hero of the Owyhees got his biggest win today, though, when the jack-booted ATF admitted that they had confused Congressman Bill Sali and his crack staff. I wrote about Bill Sali and his one-man crusade against federal agencies enforcing "laws" against true-blooded Americans earlier; now we have the proof that they try to confuse Patriots with big words and form letters. Bill Sali won't stand for it, and neither should we! Here's what the Congressman's website says: “I apologize for the confusion caused to you and your office as a result of the email sent from ATF. … The information in that email was inaccurate,” wrote Sullivan." While we don't have the rest of the letter, I bet the ellipses just cut out more stuff where the ATF wrote about how much they fear Congressman Sali as he puts a stop to any attempts on their part to keep Patriots from using Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms however they darn well please, just like the Founding Fathers intended.

Bill Sali Stands Up For The Constitution
It's been another busy week for Congressman Bill Sali and his one-man fight against socialism and jack-booted thugs from the ATF. First, he courageously pulled out of a debate on Idaho Public Television with "Republican" opponent Matt "Salisbury" Steak; Bill Sali knows that the Constitution doesn't say anything about public television, so the government shouldn't be funding it, and he certainly won't appear to endorse it as a Congressman. Besides, everyone knows that Bill Sali will easily beat Steak later this month, so what's even the point of having the debate -- it'll only prove that Sali is right about everything. Bill Sali knows that the elitists who watch IPTV are probably more interested in shows about "art" and "theater" and crap like that, so they're probably godless Socialists anyway.
The most important thing that Bill Sali did this week was to put a stop to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms from seizing the alcohol, tobacco, firearms, and bureaus of peace-loving citizens everywhere. Since 1995, the ATF has had a slogan of "Always Think Forfeiture", which Bill Sali knows means that the ATF is always going to take everything it sees from every patriotic American: “Americans have a right to keep and bear arms. We have a right to private property. But ATF, through its engraved motto, sends a message that these rights are secondary to the government’s apparent goal to 'always' seek forfeit of private property. Of course, we all want our law enforcement agencies to pursue and prosecute criminals fully. But I have a problem with a federal agency sending a message, even an unintended one, that law abiding citizens will apparently 'always' be treated the same as criminals.” Bill Sali knows that there's no such thing as a "grey" area -- there are exactly two sides to each question, and only effete elitists believe in things like "nuance" and mealy-mouthed phrases like "it depends on the situation". Salian Conservativism teaches that as long as you stick to your core principles, you'll always come up with the right answer, no matter what the so-called "facts" might be.
Bill Sali and his Patriotic Supporters know that the government is bad except when they're protecting our borders from foreigners and prescription drug reimportation and putting Ten Commandment statues up on public lands and stopping buttsex. I'm glad Bill Sali used his immense power to get the Government Thugs to give up their mission-engraved Leatherman tools. While Anti-Sali Socialists are already claiming that Bill Sali didn't personally get the ATF to stop using the slogan, it's important to note that Congressman Sali never claimed that he did; he only got them to stop distributing the engraved tools. That's the difference between Bill Sali and ordinary Congressmen -- when the story first started gaining traction, other Congresspeople went to the ATF and asked them to stop using the slogan completely; only Bill Sali had the vision to see that it was better to attack the symptom of the problem, rather than the root cause, just like doctors recommend. This proves that we need smart people like Bill Sali in Congress!
Late Breaking News! Congressman Sali is now demanding straight answers from the ATF! We'll see how important Congressman Sali really is when we see how long it takes the ATF to respond to him! I bet we'll see an update by tomorrow!

Bill Sali Is Effective And Smart!
It's been a stellar month already for Congressman Bill Sali, and it looks like it's only going to get better. On the last day of April, he defended the Patriotic citizens of Idaho from Pelosi-supported Mexican citizens by sending a letter to the Secretary of State protesting Mexico's plan to open a consulate in Boise. Although all right-thinking Patriots can see that the only reason Mexico would want to do that is to have an exit point for the Mexico-Idaho tunnel under the border fence, some Socialists still think that Mexico should be allowed to open the consulate. Bill Sali, on the other hand, knew that he had to stop this from happening, so he wrote the letter. In this act, he proved that he is better than his primary opponent, Matt "Salisbury" Steak, and his general election opponent "Wacky" Walter Mitty. Did they write letters to the Secretary of State? No they didn't! The fact that the letter was ignored makes no difference; Bill Sali alone made the effort.
Some Anti-Sali Socialists might wonder why a Christian man like Congressman Bill Sali is so opposed to illegal immigrants; they blather on and on about how Jesus said we were supposed to "love one another" and so forth. The reason is, I suspect, precisely because Bill Sali is such a respecter of the Judeo-Christian tradition -- a tradition that teaches us not to mix with people of different nationalities. The Old Testament has lots of warnings about bad things that will happen if the Jews mix with Canaanites. In the New Testament, remember how Joseph and Mary illegally immigrated to Egypt, but later they were back in Israel? It's clear to me that Jesus told them they had to go back to Israel as soon as He was able to talk! After He returned, He never left Israel again. Clearly, He was teaching His followers that they should stay in the country they were born in. Bill Sali believes that too.

Wacky Walter was out today basically giving away money to strangers, while Bill Sali was collecting money from strangers who want to be his friend. Which activity would you rather do? Congressman Bill Sali Lives His Beliefs!
A lot of Congressman talk about wanting a balanced budget, but only Bill Sali, Hero of the Owyhees, is enough of a leader to actually walk the talk. Check out this article by the normally socialist Idaho Statesman, where they say:
"Sali raised $107,600 in the first three months of 2008, said campaign manager Michelle Glasgow. Minnick pulled in twice that: $227,586. Minnick spent almost as much as he took in, but at the end of the reporting period, he had $327,909 in the bank. Sali had $124,200, and his FEC filings show that he continues to owe $134,673 from his 2006 campaign."
This just shows how fiscally responsible Bill Sali is, compared to the "tax and spend" mentality of Wacky Walter Mitty. Bill Sali is within about $10,000 of balancing the budgets between his two campaigns, whereas Mitty continues to hold on to his donor's money like he knows better how to spend it. Additionally, Bill Sali knows that it better to take in money from outside of Idaho, while I bet you WWM takes most of his money from hard-working Gem Staters.
Luckily, Mitty won't get a chance to practice his socialist ideals in public life, since Bill Sali has essentially won the election already. As I said over at anti-Sali Socialist Kevin Richert's MSM blog when he wondered if WWM can unite the Democrats following Liberal Larry Grant's dropout:
"It doesn't matter if he's running against Liberal Larry Grant or Wacky Walter Mitty, Congressman Bill Sali is going to win re-election with about 90% of the vote. Why? Because he's doing what all true Idahoans want him to do, which is vote against socialist-inspired legislation and protect the freedoms we hold so dear: freedom from government negotiation of prescription drug prices, freedom from having our society destroyed by non-Christians being allowed to speak in public forums, freedom from non-prayer-based health care. That's why people from all over the country -- and even a few from Idaho -- are contributing to help re-erect Bill Sali. Also, they know he's going to be elected President in 2012."
I'm hoping President-to-be Sali remembers his best supporters when he gets elected in 2012. Not in terms of government jobs, since he'll be eliminating most of them, but in things like appointing the heads of Neighborhood Watch committees. I've been watching my neighbors a lot lately, and I think some of them might be Hindus.

More Pro-Sali Patriots Speak Out!
True Patriots in Idaho's 1st Congressional District are showing that they're unafraid of the retribution they'll get from "college graduates" and other socialists by Standing Up to the Idaho Socialist Statesman in the Letters To The Editor section of the paper. Two Canyon County Patriots have their say in today's paper.
Robert Forrey of Nampa says: "As we see the announcements of many getting ready to run for a political office, I am reminded of how Congressman Bill Sali has been a very effective voice for Idahoans in Congress. He has pushed forward the government reform issue, doing his best to get rid of excessive spending. I appreciate all of his hard work, and I'm looking forward to his re-election this November."
Well said, Mr. Forrey! Norm Brown of Caldwell is even more verbose: "I'm seeing claims that Congressman Bill Sali is ineffective, inefficient and is not working hard for Idaho in Congress. These are not true at all, and I hope they are spoken out of ignorance. Congressman Sali is a freshman in the Republican Party, which is the minority party, and he is working against a liberal ideology in the House that is about to get worse if we don't re-elect him.
In fact, he was elected president in his freshman class of congressmen. They don't want to print the fact that his peers see him leading the way for them on issues like border control, pro-life, marriage between a man and woman, lower taxes and a smaller government. After this next presidential election, there will not be a conservative in the White House. That is why we must elect a real conservative. I, for one, see him leading the way as a real Idahoan who is a real conservative."

These Patriots know that the last thing Idaho needs is a Congressman in the majority party -- we're individuals, and would rather be Right than to help shape policy in Congress. That's why Nancy Pelosi is so afraid of Bill Sali and all he represents -- someone unwilling to play by the rules of Congress that have evolved over the years, someone who doesn't understand the concept of "compromise" -- these are the ideals that make Idaho great.

They don't want to print the fact that his peers see him leading the way for them on issues like border control, pro-life, marriage between a man and woman, lower taxes and a smaller government. After this next presidential election, there will not be a conservative in the White House. That is why we must elect a real conservative. I, for one, see him leading the way as a real Idahoan who is a real conservative."
Bill Sali is always leading the way, whether it's defending the rights of Patriotic Americans to import 2nd Amendment-protected arms into the country without having the government inspect the shipping containers they're in or stopping terrorists from getting government-supplied health insurance. These Patriots know that the last thing Idaho needs is a Congressman in the majority party -- we're individuals, and would rather be Right than to help shape policy in Congress. That's why Nancy Pelosi is so afraid of Bill Sali and all he represents -- someone unwilling to play by the rules of Congress that have evolved over the years, someone who doesn't understand the concept of "compromise" -- these are the ideals that make Idaho great.

RINO Running Against Congressman Bill Sali
I was sure surprised today when I found out that there's someone running against Congressman Bill Sali in the Republican primary. This Republican In Name Only is Matt Salisbury ("Steak" for short), and he has the unmitigated gall to think he could better represent our District than Bill Sali. Luckily for him, he hasn't actually filed yet -- maybe he'll forget.
Salisbury claims to be an American, yet he was born in Germany. He claims to be an active duty Army veteran, but he also says he was in the National Guard -- which one is it? He claims that he's raising more money in this District than Bill Sali, but this is just silly. Do want someone who's proud of getting little donations from a limited number of people? Bill Sali is smart enough to know that you can get more money by going to rich people in other parts of the country. I want my Congressman to be smart like that.
Some will say that Steak's service in Iraq is important, but honestly, how does that compare to Bill Sali's service in the frontlines of the war against Pelosi? Has Steak ever cast a courageous vote against part of Speaker Pelosi's socialist agenda? I think not.
Remember: Vote for Bill Sali on May 27th. Otherwise, you're a Socialist Stooge.

Congressman Bill Sali Will Drink The Democrat's Milkshake!
Despite the wishes of all the anti-Sali socialists out there, I'm back! Inspired the tenacity shown by Congressman Bill Sali in Standing Up to Pelosi, I decided that I couldn't let a little thing like a forgotten password slow me down in spreading The Truth about Bill Sali and the socialists who oppose him!
The people at the Idaho Socialist Statesman are once again trying to make it seem like it's somehow bad that Congressman Bill Sali is ranked as ineffective by some socialist organization. As all True Patriots know, it's good to be ineffective in Congress! All Congress wants to do is spend our money, and if you're not effective, it means your not getting more money spent. Idaho needs more representatives like Congressman Bill Sali!
Monitoring the various blogs of the Anti-Sali Socialists, I found a new blog by "David ", who says he wants to vote for anyone but Bill Sali! Clearly the product of the socialist Public Education system, he clearly has a lot to learn. Having not been lucky enough to have been taught by Patriots like Bryan Fischer in school, he thinks that Universal Health Care would be a good thing; he needs to learn that if God had wanted up to have Universal Health Care, he would have made it so we don't get sick. I'm gonna be keeping a close eye on him, and hopefully he'll learn that voting for Liberal Larry Grant or Wacky Walter Mitty will start Idaho down the road to a Pelosi/Satan-inspired society of forced socialism and bestiality. He should investigate the unimpeachable logic of Congresman Bill Sali and know that God wants him to vote for a True Patriot who is probably going to be elected President in 2012 -- Bill Sali.

A Great Year for Congressman Bill Sali
This certainly has been a splendiferous year for Congressman Bill Sali as he stands up to Pelosi! Even the Idaho Socialist Statesman had to admit how effective he's been at single-handedly stopping Speaker Pelosi's plan to socialize America with his incredible speaking ability and command of the official English language. Here's how Congressman Sali explains his core guiding belief:
"Here's what I was trying to say: that our country was founded on principles that the founding fathers derived largely from Scripture and among them, by the way, was religious freedom," he said. "Everybody who is involved in public policy brings a philosophy to the plate. And when you start bringing philosophy that runs counter to what the Founding Fathers employed ... in putting this country together, then that's not what the Founding Fathers envisioned."
Brilliant! No one could argue with his powerful logic!
I also got an E-mail directly from Congressman Sali's office with effusive praise from a powerful Republican leader, Rep. Roy Blount. Here's some of what the E-mail had to say about the Hero of the Owyhees:
"Congressman Sali successfully convinced the Bureau of Land Management to reverse a decision barring recreational shooting on public lands in southwestern Idaho. Sali also advocated on behalf of recreational users of Lake Cascade, drafted and introduced legislation to protect home and property owners from dangerous wildfires that burn on federally-administered lands and has drafted and introduced several pieces of legislation to change the way Congress does business."
Every non-socialist knows that if you don't have recreational shooters on public lands, only criminals will be shooting on public lands. Bill Sali is the only Congressman willing to stand up to the government bureaucrats in ensuring everyone can shoot darn near any direction they want here in SW Idaho, just like our Founding Fathers intended. You just don't see California Democrats in Congress caring about our district the way Bill Sali does.

Bill Sali Knows Best!
Congressman Bill Sali wrote a newspaper article of such stunning brilliance and erudite sipidity that the socialists at the Idaho Socialist Statesman had no choice but to publish it. Here's some of what he said.
"Not long ago, I voted against bills containing billions of dollars in wasteful spending. These were plainly hard votes. On one hand, the bills contained projects that I directly fought for and supported, including money for a detox center in Boise, for the nursing program at Northwest Nazarene University in Nampa, for improvements at Gritman Medical Center in Moscow and for improvements to U.S. 95. On the other hand, those good projects were craftily bundled with waste and bloated spending to achieve passage of those projects that would never pass if proposed separately.
"As a freshman congressman, I am proud to have successfully advocated for these Idaho projects. I'm also proud that the Idaho delegation secured $8 million in support of the 2009 Special Olympics World Winter Games, an exciting event and one Idaho is proud to host.
"I am a strong supporter of those games just like the majority of Idahoans and Americans. My very first bill that received the approval by the House was one recognizing Idaho's selection as host of the 2009 World Winter Games."
Congressman Bill Sali knows that government spending is always bad, unless it's being used to encourage morality. He also knows that it encourages morality to send money from socialist states like California and Wisconsin to a God-fearing state like Idaho. And despite the whining from anti-Sali Socialist "Wordsmith", Bill Sali knows that the Constitution doesn't mention anything about Congressional "resolutions", so therefore what he had passed was obviously a bill. "Wordsmith" was clearly one of those socialists whose parents didn't let her watch Saturday cartoons, so that explains why she doesn't know about how Congress works.
Later on Congressman Sali says:
"Those same bills that contained funding for my Idaho projects also contained wasteful and outlandish programs that Idahoans should not be forced to subsidize with their hard-earned money: $1 million in funding for the naming of a public policy center after former Sen. Tom Daschle, $400,000 for jazz at Lincoln Center in New York City, and enough money to give the bureaucrats at the U.S. Department of Education raises on top of the $95,300 the average bureaucrat there already earns. That's almost twice the salary of the average teacher in America.
"Idaho taxpayers would also have been stuck paying $335,000 for the historic preservation of a baseball field in Montana, $301,500 for the International Peace Garden in North Dakota and $100,00 for signage in Los Angeles' High Fashion District.
"There are no parades for those who vote against spending money in Congress. There are no celebrations when excessive spending is defeated. Nonetheless, I am convinced Americans still agree with Thomas Jefferson.
"They know it would have been wrong for me to take pride in any success for Idaho, knowing the costs that Jefferson would have "pruned" were part of the price tag. While it was politically hard for me to vote no, I knew it was the right thing to do."
Bill Sali always puts his principles ahead of political expediency, just like his patriotic Idaho constituents want him to do. We know that it's not how many votes you win; it's how much we make Speaker Pelosi know that we're going to Stand Up to her socialist plans. The thing that sets Congressman Bill Sali apart from most of his fellow members is the painstaking research he does. Nowhere else can you find the evidence that Bill Sali presents that the average Department of Education employee is a GS-14 or higher. It's his way of coming up with facts like that, that makes all Patriotic Idahoans proud that Bill Sali is our Congressman.

Congressman Bill Sali is Smart, and so are his Supporters
Congressman Bill Sali was recently appointed to monitor all High Tech governmental initiatives, as I found out from an E-mail I got from his staff. Here's what it said:
WASHINGTON, D.C. – House Republican Leader John Boehner has named Congressman Bill Sali to his High-Tech Working Group, which is charged with expanding economic opportunities in America based on the use of advanced technology.
“In the short time he’s been in office, Congressman Sali has demonstrated an uncanny ability to find commonsense solutions to complex problems,” Boehner said. “Bill is creative, knowledgeable and has a real knack working together with divergent interests in order to benefit his constituents and the nation.”
Boehner has charged the High-Tech Working Group with looking at long-term, creative ways to use technology to benefit the entire economy. The panel is expected to look at how technology is or will impact healthcare, agriculture, engineering, office management and other aspects of daily life.
“I’m honored that Leader Boehner would appoint me to this position,” Sali said. “He is taking a very visionary approach to critical issues facing our country. It is my hope that we can work collaboratively to come up with ideas that will benefit not only America’s high-tech industries, but also Idaho’s economy and the quality of life of its citizens.”
Just more proof that Congressman Sali is way smarter than his critics. Likewise, I can understand why many socialists who come to this blog can't understand my logical arguments about why Bill Sali is the best; it's because my writing is too complex for them. A Busy Day For Congressman Bill Sali!
Yesterday Congressman Sali sure earned his salary! First, he sustained the President's veto of the Socialist-CHIP bill that would have given government health care to those who probably don't deserve it, including Al Qaeda terrorists and lawbreakers. Congressman Sali knows that no one should get their health insurance provided by the government, and paying for it by taxing honest citizens who enjoy a good legal smoke is totally wrong. (It's just my opinion, but I think those "scientists" who claim some sort of link between smoking and lung cancer are the same ones who missed the proven link between abortion and breast cancer.)
Next, he Stood Up To Pelosi by exercising his Constitutional right to give an interview to non-socialist newsman "DFO". He really nailed all the questions, proving logically and Biblically that his opinion was the only real one that mattered. My question didn't get asked, but hopefully it will be included in the ones that get sent to his office. (I was disappointed to see that Congressman Sali doesn't read blogs himself, but hopefully his staff reads this one. If you're from Congressman Sali's office: Hi!)
Finally, the biggest news is that President Bush personally called Congressman Sali to the White House to get advice on lots of topics! As the President of his Class, Bill Sali has an important leadership role in the House that not even Speaker Pelosi can take away from him. I hope the meeting was in the Oval Office, so that Congressman Sali got to see the office he'll be working in someday!
