I can't believe that Bill Sali, Hero of the Owyhees, was beaten in the reddest state in the country by a man with a D+ rating from the NRA who wants to make us all get abortions and give all our money and daughters to illegal aliens. It's clear to me that Idaho doesn't deserve a man of Bill Sali's stature, and I won't blame him for moving out of the district like he said he was going to do.
I also don't blame him for refusing to concede, even though all the votes have been counted. Nowhere in the Constitution or Bible does it say that a politician has to concede, and just because all "reasonable" politicians follow that tradition, that's no reason for Bill Sali to change his behavior now!

Nine Reasons To Vote For Bill Sali

The Anti-Sali Socialists might have their 30 Reasons that people are saying "No" to Bill Sali, and Pro-Sali Patriot Adam Graham might have his Ton Ten Reasons not to elect Wacky Walter Mitty, but no one has put out any reasons to vote for Bill Sali. Because I'm Bill Sali's biggest fan, I figure it's up to me:

1) Bill Sali will continue to Stand Up To Pelosi. While it's likely that Republicans will take Congress back (according to this expert analysis) and Bill Sali will be elected as the new House Majority Whip, there's a chance that Democrats will keep the House majority, and as we've seen, only Bill Sali can effectively Stand Up to Pelosi. Remember all the things that Patriots said would happen if Pelosi became Speaker? How we'd surrender in Iraq and there'd be abortions in the House chamber and we'd all have to become Muslims? Notice how those things haven't happened yet? It's only because Bill Sali has been there to oppose her Socialist plans!

2) Bill Sali is loyal. Alone among Idaho leaders, he stood by Sen. Larry Craig in Craig's hour of greatest need. Even though Bill Sali is a narrow-stance adherant, he led the way for stance acceptance in fighting for Sen. Craig to keep his Senate seat despite media lies that Craig said he would "resign". Bill Sali knew that Pelosi would appoint some Socialist to replace Craig in the Senate, and he wouldn't stand for that!

3) Bill Sali understands the Constitution. Bill Sali has taken the lead in fighting to ensure that the Constitution should be understood as intended by the Founding Fathers when it was first adopted. All those hippy amendments that have done things like cut jobs by eliminating "involuntary servitude" and brought in liberal voters like young people and people who aren't men weren't really envisioned by the Founding Fathers, so Bill Sali will continue to take the lead in ensuring they are rightfully ignored.

4) Bill Sali fights for Religious Freedom for all Christians. Doesn't it chap your shorts when you see people who clearly aren't Christians acting like they should have a voice in this nation that was founded on Christianity? Bill Sali has stood up against Hindus and Muslims in the Capitol Building; he'll continue to fight against all those who deny Christ's divinity having any say in American politics!

5) Bill Sali Stands Up to Government. Whether it's making the ATF give up their Leathermen or stopping the Mexicans from putting a consulate in Boise, Bill Sali has shown he's supper-effective in stopping the government from taking away our freedoms!

6) Bill Sali Saves Us Money. Bill Sali votes against new taxes and new spending. I didn't actually check to see how many of these bills he single-handedly defeated, but I bet it's a bunch, 'cause my taxes haven't gone up after two years of Democrat control of Congress. The only extra taxes I've been paying have been in sales tax, but that's only because Bill Sali wasn't here to stop that; I'm pretty sure it was passed after he left the legislature at the end of 2006.

7) Bill Sali is a Uniter. He brings people from all across the political spectrum together in a common cause.

8) Bill Sali Votes the way Idahoans want him to vote. Whether it's not giving in to people whining about being "tortured" or not giving in to special interests like "Idaho school districts", Bill Sali casts the principled votes that are always instrumental in ensuring those bills go down in flames.

9) Bill Sali is the Hero of the Owyhees. Along with his crack staff, Bill Sali has protected Western Idaho from Socialist takeover. Like the famous mountain range that overlooks his hometown of Kuna ("Last of the Old West"), Bill Sali stands like a sentinel against United Nations invasions or people who want you to pay more in property taxes for schools. Wacky Walter Mitty wouldn't do that. Please, if you believe that we need to return to the simpler days when people didn't have to worry about "computers" messing stuff up and there weren't so many rules to trip up regular people, vote for Bill Sali.

The Idaho Socialist Statesman has a socialistic article today claiming that an "independent poll" shows Wacky Walter Mitty ahead of Congressman Bill Sali by 51-45. I'm guessing they just found 96 people at a welfare office and asked them, since all Patriotic Idahoans are going to vote for Bill Sali. As proof that this is a lie, consider that the House Republican campaign committee cancelled planned advertising for Congressman Sali; they wouldn't do that if he was behind, would they?

Anti-Sali Socialists are always complaining about Bill Sali, Hero of the Owyhees, just because he doesn't like the Socialist nanny-state telling him how he should live. Does any Patriotic Idahoan actually expect someone to know about all these rules? Someone would have to be a lawyer to actually understand all this! Everyone knows Congressman Bill Sali is too busy protecting us from Mexican consulates and ATF pocketknives and protecting Congress from Hindus to learn about all this unimportant stuff. Do you really think a Congressman should have to know anything about laws? Of course not! Bill Sali has a new commercial out, and it's a winner!

Bill Sali is clearly going to win this race against "Wacky" Walter Mitty, so he doesn't really need to run commercials to get votes; he's just using his campaign money to provide entertainment to Idahoans. Since he's such a great musician, he knows that Idahoans love music and non-Satanic dancing, so he has the guy in this commercial doing Bill Sali's favorite dance moves.

Of course, since it's pretending to be a campaign commercial, he has to include some facts. That's why he says that "Minnick's Tax Ideas: Cost Idaho Families $2200", and lists the source as "Idaho Statesman, 6/23/03". Just think about what that means; back over 4 years before Wacky Walt started running for Congress, even the Idaho Socialist Statesman was warning about Mitty's tax proposals! I'm sure Bill Sali could have come up with something less than 5 years old if he really wanted to, but he was too busy keeping the Mexican Consulate from being opened in Boise.

Of course, Bill Sali doesn't really need the money; his election is such a foregone conclusion that the only thing he needs the money for is to donate it to other worthy causes, but he knows that it's traditional for Congressmen to ask for money, so he's doing it for the sake of our Founding Fathers.

What excites me the most about this mailing is that Bill Sali shows how he's taking a stand against elites who want to confuse all us regular Patriotic people. Congressman Bill Sali Wins Converts To The Patriotic Side!

Congressman Bill Sali once again disproved the bleatings of various Anti-Sali Socialists this week when he gained additional converts to the side of Goodness and Patriotism from the Socialist (Democrat) side of the aisle in an important vote! In voting against over $1 trillion in spending for so-called governmental activities like "defense", "homeland security", and "veterans affairs", Bill Sali proved that he is willing to lay it on the line to keep the government from spending our tax money. Most importantly, he apparently convinced several previously Socialist Congresspeople (including Rep. McDermott from Washington, Rep. Kucinich from Ohio, and Rep. Lee from California) to join him in his principled opposition to the bill. These are the kinds of people that all True Idaho Patiots are glad to see on the same side of a vote as Congressman Bill Sali!

While supporters of Wacky Walter Mitty might whine about how Bill Sali voted against "veterans", the fact remains that nowhere in the Constitution is the word "veterans" mentioned; therefore, Congress should have no power to vote for money for "veterans". This matches Bill Sali's oft-declared principle that Congress shouldn't have the power to do anything that it doesn't specifically mention in the Constitution; that's why his campaign Issues web page doesn't mention anything about "veterans" (or the military, for that matter). Because let's face it... Bill Sali was smart enough to avoid military service when he was younger (unlike Wacky Walt) and surely knows that anyone who wasn't smart enough to avoid signing up for a job where you're woken up early and yelled at by people -- often guys who the original Constitution (the one that really matters) said only count for 3/5 of a person -- doesn't really deserve government money. I'm sure all Pro-Sali Patriots would agree.

Bill Sali Commercial Shows Why He's A Hero

Congressman Bill Sali put out a campaign commercial that shows why he's the best Congressman ever. Here it is:

Bill Sali courageously points out that he voted against over $1.1 trillion in government spending; he got these numbers from the Congressional Research Service, and just coincidentally was able to use them in his commercial three days later. While Socialists will probably complain that he used taxpayer-funded resources to come up with numbers just to use in a campaign commercial, all true Patriots know that he'll make a lot of non-political uses of that report, such as... well, those uses are so obvious that I don't even have to write them down.

Just imagine how much the government would have spent if Bill Sali hadn't bravely voted against the bills! We see from his report (invaluable to future Presidential historians) that he voted against $1.16 trillion in spending, and voted for $835 billion in funding for the military. Since the federal government is spending about $2.9 trillion this year, and about $900 billion of that is for Social Security and interest on the debt, this means that Congress passed about $2 trillion dollars in spending.

Had Liberal Larry Grant been elected in 2006, he would have voted for all this spending, so Congress would have spend the amount Bill Sali voted for and voted against, which is about... 1.16 trillion plus 835 billion... carry the one... $1.995 trillion. Which, as you can see, is much more than the amount Congress actually spent. The numbers don't lie!

Another Bill Sali Success!

One of the Socialist TV stations here in Boise is reporting on how Congressman Bill Sali has been called in to protect one of our Senate seats from Democratic takeover. In the race to replace retiring Patriot Larry Craig (who was unscrupulously attacked by Socialists last year) the Democrats are cheating by running only one candidate against four Patriotic candidates. Bill Sali knows this is unfair, so he's doing something about it!

“I was asked by Bill Sali if I would get out of this race and it didn't make any sense to me," said Pro-Life...
"...But the man who calls himself Pro-Life says three weeks ago, he was personally called by Sali at his home.
"I got a call from Congressman Bill Sali," said Kent Marmon, Libertarian Party candidate.
"The other two candidates have similar stories.
"It was on a Friday evening, Bill was on his way to a wedding rehearsal for his daughter who was getting married the next day. He asked me if I had considered the fact that I was taking votes away from Jim Risch, helping Larry LaRocco, and if I considered bowing out of the race," said Marmon.
"Independent candidate Rex Rammell says he too was contacted. He won't say by whom, but says it's happened several times...
"...Bill Sali admits he made the calls – a Republican attempt to save the Senate seat. "

That's Bill Sali -- always looking out for other Patriots. Of course, he could have entered the race himself and easily won, but in the Senate he wouldn't be able to Stand Up To Pelosi so successfully; that's why he's letting lesser Patriot Jimmy Risch hold on to the seat until Sali needs it.

Bill Sali's mega-spokesman explained why the Hero of the Owyhees made the calls:

“The people who are on the ballot are wonderful people," said Wayne Hoffman, Sali spokesman.
His spokesman says it was nothing personal -- simply politics.
"This isn't about them, this is about the Democrats trying to use the number of people on the ballot to their advantage, they are making an effort to win not only Bill Sali's seat, but the seat that Jim Risch is running for and it's a big concern," said Hoffman."

Hoffman is exactly right, as usual. How dare the Democrats have the unmitigated gall to try to win a Congressional seat?! And how dare they think they can get away with only running one candidate in a Senate race!? If the Democrats have their way, their guy might be able to win in a multi-candidate race while getting less than half the vote -- maybe even as low as 25.37%. How fair would that be? Bill Sali called them on their un-American values, and now they know they can't get away with such shenanigans.

Expect the candidates touched by Bill Sali's charisma to drop out of the race right away. After all, when Bill Sali sets out to do something, he's always super-effective! (The Socialist lies in the Channel 7 article that claim the other candidates are staying in the race can of course be discounted, since that would imply that Bill Sali isn't 100% successful all the time.)

Congressman Bill Sali Is A True Conservationist

The Anti-Sali Socialist at "The Unequivocal Notion" seems to have a problem with Bill Sali's heroic new website about his energy plan. (Basically, his plan, which all Patriots agree with, is "use all our energy resources now, because the Rapture will occur after we consume all of the bounty of the earth".) The unknown blogger seems to think that because Bill Sali's plan aligns with President Bush's plan -- which was supported by a vast majority of voters in 2004 -- that there's something wrong with it because Bill Sali doesn't come right out and say where he got his ideas from. Well, duh! Of course Bill Sali gets his ideas from President Bush! Bill Sali is setting the precedent that all Patriots should follow the lead of their President (as long as he's supported by God, like President Bush is) so that people will follow the Hero of the Owyhees when he's elected President in 2012.

Socialists try to make a big deal out of suppressing Patriotic free speech by saying that "you can't just copy someone's words and claim them for your own". (Quotes mean "paraphrasing" in this case.) Bill Sali believes in the 1st Amendment (except maybe the "press", "petition" and "assembly" parts, which are bordering on Socialism), and knows that copying someone's good ideas and presenting them as your own is the highest form of flattery! Anyway, Socialists always talk about "conserving" things, but now they're attacking Bill Sali for "conserving" his brainpower! It's hard work writing new policies, and Bill Sali's beautiful mind is better used in other pursuits. If there's a policy you like, does it really matter that you didn't really "write" it before claiming it as your own? Since the Bible never says, "Bill Sali can't copy from the White House web site without attribution", I say that what he's done is OK with me, along with all right-thinking Idaho Patriots!

Bill Sali Doesn't Need Support From Religious Schismatics!

Congressman Bill Sali is well known for being accepting of all sorts of people: Protestant and Catholic, white and causcasian, heterosexual and celibate... the list goes on. I'm afraid, though, that his trusting nature might have gotten him into a little bit of trouble now. As I was reading his campaign website, I was shocked to see this headline:

"Group launches ReCreationists for Sali"

As I read through the post, I started wondering what was going on. Why is the Hero of the Owyhees, Bill Sali, even giving these freakazoids the time of day? He even says he supports them carrying their blasphemy into public places: "Congressman Sali understands the needs of those recreationists who wish to use public lands. Whether they like using snowmobiles, kayaking, hiking, boating, rafting---you name it, Congressman Sali has been a vocal advocate of our interests. He not only understands, but actively supports our right to responsibly use these lands."

I became dismayed. How could the man who stood up to Hindus being allowed in the Senate chambers even think to support people who believe that God's creation isn't perfect -- and that someone (probably Satan or someone who reads the Muslim Iran) will have to re-create it -- actually using public land. "Has Bill Sali abandoned his principles?" I wondered.

Then, I realized what actually happened. Seeing the story spread to the Idaho Socialist Statesman made me realize that this entire story was a plant by minions of Wacky Walter Mitty. They used their "knowledge" of computers to hack into Bill Sali's website and post the story there! I knew their was no way my hero, Bill Sali, could let me down like that!

And shame on you, Wacky Walter Mitty, for trying to smear a great American and a great friend to true Patriots everywhere. Sadly for you, we see through your Lies and Schemes! Bill Sali will never stoop to recognizing that someone who's not a Christian has so-called "rights" in this great country, as the Founding Fathers intended!

The Obvious Choice: Bill Sali For Vice President!

The news is reporting that RINO John McCain is going to pick someone to get the Republican nomination for Vice President today. NBC is reporting that Minnesota Gov. Pawcatuck and Mormon Mitt Romney are out of the running. Some people say it will be the Governor of Alaska, but he has a girl's name ("Sarah" Palin), so he'll get laughed at by all Patriotic Americans, just like the guy in "My Name Is Sue" by Johnny Cash. Plus, he's still in Alaska.

With all these people out of the running, there's only one conservative left who will rally the base: Congressman Bill Sali. Want proof? Check out his campaign schedule: not only does he not have any events scheduled for this afternoon, but also none for this weekend, and only one in September. This is the schedule of a man who's ready to answer the call to be the Vice President! Expect the announcement that the Hero of the Owyhees will be the next Vice President sometime today.

Plus, with McCain being a really old guy, this means that Bill Sali will probably be President even before the 2012 expectations of most observers. Then he'll be able to ship Wacky Walter Mitty off to Gitmo!

It turns out that RINO McCain didn't make the choice that would have easily won him the election in Bill Sali, but that's good for Idahoans, because now we'll have Congressman Sali continuing to Stand Up To Pelosi in the House. Plus, Pro-Sali Patriot Bryan Fischer seems to really like Governor Palin, so that's a good thing. Still, I'm surprised that all these stories on Palin are showing so many pictures of his wife.

Congressman Bill Sali Stands Up to Namby-Pamby Teacher's Pets

Didn't you always used to dislike all those teacher's pets who told the teacher if someone was breaking the rules? Note that these weren't important rules, like "Don't commit sodomy" or "Don't illegally come to America" or "Don't belong to any religion other than evangelical Christianity", but the silly rules that all Patriotic Americans don't really care about. The Socialists are really outdoing themselves when it comes to tattling this year.

Socialist Mountain Goat says that Bill Sali might have "broken a rule" when he sent out his highly-informative mailing this month within 90 days of the election. The fact is that the "rule" only has to do with "unsolicited" mailings, and I know for sure that everyone in the 1st District wants to hear what the Hero of the Owyhees has to say!

The Socialist press is now "reporting" that the bold and forceful charges that "Wacky" Walter Mitty had a house in Idaho's other district, and is only renting a house in this district, are somehow undermined just because they aren't actually "true". I say truth is in the eye of the beholder, and if Patriotic Idahoans want something to be true hard enough, then God will make it so!

The Pelosi-controlled Socialists on the so-called "Committee for House Administration" are now saying that Bill Sali is somehow breaking a "rule" that his Congressional offices have to actually be in the district the Congressman is representing. This goes to show how little these Eastern Elitists understand Idaho; it's as if they think there's a lot of land out here where people can just establish an office. The Truth is that pretty much everywhere except for downtown Boise (which is controlled by Socialists) is a free-fire area where Patriotic Idahoans can exercise their 2nd Amendment Rights at will, and having an office somewhere else could cause people visiting to get hit by stray rounds. Bill Sali cares about his constituent's safety!

What it all boils down to is this: Bill Sali doesn't need to answer to all these tattle-tales and "concerned citizens"; Bill Sali is above the law by virtue of being right! Nowhere in the Bible -- the only true source of Law -- does it say that Bill Sali can't have his offices outside his district, or can't mail out taxpayer-funded campaign brochures whenever he darn well pleases. A verse from Isaiah is applicable to this situation: "...Stand by thyself, come not near to me; for I am holier than thou..." Bill Sali is truly holier than his Socialist opponents, and as such he doesn't have to answer their scurrilous attacks. These Socialists should be ashamed of themselves for daring to question someone of Bill Sali's intellect and stature! (They should also be ashamed of themselves for attacking the "Amerian Carol" movie.)

I'm Going To Hold A Yard Sale For Bill Sali!

The Hero of the Owyhees, Congressman Bill Sali, has offered a great way for all true Idaho Patriots to help his campaign to defeat Socialism and replace it with ideals of the John Birch Society -- yard sales.

That right -- if you're a Pro-Sali Patriot, you too can sell your personal possessions, and give the money to Bill Sali! Here's some of what Congressman Sali has to say:
"My family and I have always enjoyed holding and going to yard sales. We have found them to be a great way to meet new people in our community and a fun way to pick up odds and ends. (Sometimes we find an item that we actually need) My new program, Yard Sales for Sali, will give everyone who appreciates what I have done in Congress an opportunity to show their support - financially and in their community.
Why host a yard sale for my campaign? Just imagine what a great service you'd be doing for mankind (at least the Heterosexual Christian American portion of it, which is really all that matters) if you sold all your furniture to the Patriot down the street! And then you could buy it back when he holds a yard sale. And imagine how happy someone would be to buy your used litter box knowing that the money would be going to Bill Sali, Representative for All Idahoans and future President. Personally, I have a really nice antique computer (IBM PC Jr.) that I know some Patriotic home-schooled child would love to do his homework on. Plus, I've got a few old engagement rings that I just know this one neighborhood spinster would love to wear and show off to her friends.

Bill Sali doesn't say in his blog if we're allowed to take money from those who don't represent American Christian values -- such money might be tainted, after all. So I'll make sure that my "Hindus Stay Off The Grass And Out Of Congressional Prayers" sign is up next to all my Bill Sali for Congress gear that I'll get for free! I'll also go through all my old white clothes I used to wear when I lived up north as well to see if there's anything else I'd be willing to give up for the cause. Plus, I have a cat with some unfortunate bowel control problems that I'm sure some small child would really love. If anyone has any suggestions for other things I could sell, I'd love to hear them!

Congressman Bill Sali will always be the Hero of the Owyhees, but as he's moved onto the national stage those of us who have always admired his moral ascendency from close up will have to learn to share him with the rest of the country. Bill Sali's campaign to Stand Up To Pelosi is now gaining national attention, as evidenced by this blog post from the website of the nationally-televised "The Daily Show" TV show. Here's part of what they say in praising Bill Sali:

"Take Republican Congressman Bill Sali of Idaho, for example. His campaign seems... to master the incredibly difficult... computing device"

and

"Sali's office... have really good excuses"

and

"... they always... figure out how to... upload FEC report through... office network... on the hard drive".

While "The Daily Show" clearly has a Socialist host, their correspondents are always very Patriotic, especially former correspondent Stephen Colbert (who recently got promoted to have his own show). National press attention like this will easily propel Bill Sali to an easy victory in November on his way to the Presdency in 2012!

I'm really excited, because tonight I was re-reading Congressman Bill Sali's campaign website to check out all the appearances he'll be making here while Congress is on a Socialist-mandated vacation, when I saw something amazing. I was so excited to be able to converse directly with the Hero of the Owyhees that I immediately left him a comment. He's got comment moderation turned on, though, so it didn't appear right away. Congressman Bill Sali is Standing Up to Pelosi again, and he's doing it in a way that even Socialists can support. While RINO Idaho Senator Mike Crappo is only getting people to send in their "stories" of how gas prices are hurting them (without pausing to think of all the poor stockholders in the Patriotic oil companies, who are operating under very small profit margins and making hardly any money at all.) Bill Sali isn't doing a bunch of purposeless whining; he's taking action! He's asking us to send our gas receipts into him, and he'll give them to Pelosi. And we all know why he's doing it. When a Socialist like Pelosi sees a bill, she automatically pays it. That's right, Speaker Pelosi will reimburse us for all the money we pay for gas because of Bill Sali's marvelous plan!

Bill Sali is also showing us how to solve the deficit problem. I know it'll work, because the smartest guy I went to junior high school with, Dale Jacobson, used to use it all the time. He'd say to me, "Bill, can I borrow $20?" I'd say sure, then he's say, "But only give me $10 of it." Later, when I'd ask him for my money back, he'd explain, "Bill, that wouldn't be fair. I owe you $10, right? But you only gave me half of the $20 you promised me, so you owe me $10 too. So, we're even, right?" It didn't make much sense to me then (even after it happened about 15 times), but now I'm finally beginning to understand, thanks to Bill Sali.

Bill Sali finally fought through the Socialist FEC software an submitted his quarterly fundraising report, showing that lots of smart people with lots of money like to give their money to Bill Sali. The campaign reported that it raised $155,000 for the quarter, but Anti-Sali Socialists working for Wacky Walter Mitty claim that he only raised $140,000, because about $15,000 was reimbursements from people that Bill Sali had paid money to earlier. It's clear that Bill Sali is right, because he's always right! This is just Bill Sali's way of showing how he'll eliminate the federal budget deficit. If he can turn $140,000 into $155,000 so easily, imagine what he can do with $1 billion! He'll give it to some business owned by Socialists, then make them give the money back. Like magic, $1 billion has turned into $2 billion in receipts! If he keeps doing that about 10,000 times, he'll have raised $10 trillion to pay off the deficit! I bet he could do that in a weekend, unless he and his crack staff are thwarted by more Socialistic software.

Congressman Bill Sali Stands Up To Socialists, Hindus

Congressman Bill Sali, who recently added the title "Hero of the Taxpayers" to his previous title of "Hero of the Owyhees", is doing more and more to Stand Up against Pelosi and her plans to destroy America. It's not surprising that Anti-Sali Socialists are trying to get Idahoans to give up more of their hard-earned dollars to elect Wacky Walter Mitty. Like the Pelosi-led Socialists in Congress, Mitty is trying to get people to surrender money to support something that will never work, since everyone knows that Bill Sali will easily win re-election this November.

Bill Sali once again proved his leadership ability in Patriotic causes when he Stood Up To Pelosi in voting against the socialist "Energy Markets Emergency Act of 2008". By casting a principled "No" vote against socialistic control of markets and in favor of public-spirited traders who seek only to practice capitalism as Jesus meant them to, Sali squashed Pelosi's attempt to make it look like the bill had widespread bipartisan support. Had Liberal Larry Grant been elected in 2006, the vote would have been 403-18, instead of the much closer 402-19 we saw. Pelosi is thwarted again!

Bill Sali is also standing up to Hindus, Muslims, and other people who don't believe in Christ by taking the lead in Standing Up To Socialistic Organizations. What I like most about Bill Sali is how he puts his beliefs into action that will change our country, and doesn't just make "symbolic" efforts. To that end, Congressman Sali bravely Stood Up To Pelosi again by signing up on May 6th to co-sponsor H.R. 1146, which would end America's membership in the United Nations. Since this bill now has 4 co-sponsors, and since Rep. Ron Paul, the sponsor, has an unmatched record of getting his bills passed, we know it will become law soon. Bill Sali knows that while the Constitution says that Congress shall pass no law establishing a religion, the Founding Fathers understood that everyone who really mattered was a Christian of some sort, so they're the only ones who should really be speaking in the United States in an official capacity. Seeing Hindus, Muslims, and God knows who else being allowed to speak out against America while on American soil makes all true Patiots really upset, and Bill Sali speaks for them. With Bill Sali on our side, our participation in the United Nations (and all the bad things they have done) will be over soon.

Sorry I haven't posted in the last couple of weeks to respond to the cowardly attacks of Wacky Walter Mitty's minions on your hero and mine, Congressman Bill Sali. My computer stopped working, so I had to figure out how to get another one. I was asking some people at work for advice, and this one Anti-Sali Socialist overheard me and said that she had an old computer she could sell me. I was so surprised she said "sell" instead of "barter" (or some other Socialist concept) that I agreed to take a look at it. It turns out that she had this big old Compaq that hadn't been used in something like 5 years. Like all Pro-Sali Patriots, I'm pretty saavy when it comes to making deals, so I had her start it up to make sure it worked, and saw that it had Windows Millenium Edition! I got pretty excited, because I figured she wouldn't have any idea what an antique O/S like this was worth on the secondary market. Not wanting to let this deal get away, I offered her $800 for it... and she took it without even making a counter-offer!

It just goes to show that Anti-Sali Socialists don't have a clue about how valuable the past can be.

Bill Sali Racks Up Two More Wins!

It's been another stellar week for Congressman Bill Sali. First, he easily defeated RINO Matt "Salisbury" Steak by over 1.4 million centivotes, despite attempts by Anti-Sali Socialists to make it look like Steak was more popular than he really was. Pro-Sali Patriot Bryan Fischer has the best analysis: "Bill Sali thumped challenger Matt Salisbury 60%-40%, despite a huge influx of crossover Democrats. A sign of just how many Dems jumped ship to make mischief in the Republican primary: Salisbury actually got more votes than Sali’s November opponent, Walt Minnick, the Democrat running unopposed in his primary.

I think that pretty much all of Steak's 27,252 votes came from Democrats and other Socialists, so it's clear that Bill Sali win easily defeat Walter Mitty in November, since Steak's votes combined with Mitty's are probably a lot less than what Bill Sali got.

The Hero of the Owyhees got his biggest win today, though, when the jack-booted ATF admitted that they had confused Congressman Bill Sali and his crack staff. I wrote about Bill Sali and his one-man crusade against federal agencies enforcing "laws" against true-blooded Americans earlier; now we have the proof that they try to confuse Patriots with big words and form letters. Bill Sali won't stand for it, and neither should we! Here's what the Congressman's website says: “I apologize for the confusion caused to you and your office as a result of the email sent from ATF. … The information in that email was inaccurate,” wrote Sullivan." While we don't have the rest of the letter, I bet the ellipses just cut out more stuff where the ATF wrote about how much they fear Congressman Sali as he puts a stop to any attempts on their part to keep Patriots from using Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms however they darn well please, just like the Founding Fathers intended.

Bill Sali Stands Up For The Constitution

It's been another busy week for Congressman Bill Sali and his one-man fight against socialism and jack-booted thugs from the ATF. First, he courageously pulled out of a debate on Idaho Public Television with "Republican" opponent Matt "Salisbury" Steak; Bill Sali knows that the Constitution doesn't say anything about public television, so the government shouldn't be funding it, and he certainly won't appear to endorse it as a Congressman. Besides, everyone knows that Bill Sali will easily beat Steak later this month, so what's even the point of having the debate -- it'll only prove that Sali is right about everything. Bill Sali knows that the elitists who watch IPTV are probably more interested in shows about "art" and "theater" and crap like that, so they're probably godless Socialists anyway.

The most important thing that Bill Sali did this week was to put a stop to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms from seizing the alcohol, tobacco, firearms, and bureaus of peace-loving citizens everywhere. Since 1995, the ATF has had a slogan of "Always Think Forfeiture", which Bill Sali knows means that the ATF is always going to take everything it sees from every patriotic American: “Americans have a right to keep and bear arms. We have a right to private property. But ATF, through its engraved motto, sends a message that these rights are secondary to the government’s apparent goal to 'always' seek forfeit of private property. Of course, we all want our law enforcement agencies to pursue and prosecute criminals fully. But I have a problem with a federal agency sending a message, even an unintended one, that law abiding citizens will apparently 'always' be treated the same as criminals.” Bill Sali knows that there's no such thing as a "grey" area -- there are exactly two sides to each question, and only effete elitists believe in things like "nuance" and mealy-mouthed phrases like "it depends on the situation". Salian Conservativism teaches that as long as you stick to your core principles, you'll always come up with the right answer, no matter what the so-called "facts" might be.

Bill Sali and his Patriotic Supporters know that the government is bad except when they're protecting our borders from foreigners and prescription drug reimportation and putting Ten Commandment statues up on public lands and stopping buttsex. I'm glad Bill Sali used his immense power to get the Government Thugs to give up their mission-engraved Leatherman tools. While Anti-Sali Socialists are already claiming that Bill Sali didn't personally get the ATF to stop using the slogan, it's important to note that Congressman Sali never claimed that he did; he only got them to stop distributing the engraved tools. That's the difference between Bill Sali and ordinary Congressmen -- when the story first started gaining traction, other Congresspeople went to the ATF and asked them to stop using the slogan completely; only Bill Sali had the vision to see that it was better to attack the symptom of the problem, rather than the root cause, just like doctors recommend. This proves that we need smart people like Bill Sali in Congress!

Late Breaking News! Congressman Sali is now demanding straight answers from the ATF! We'll see how important Congressman Sali really is when we see how long it takes the ATF to respond to him! I bet we'll see an update by tomorrow!

Bill Sali Is Effective And Smart!

It's been a stellar month already for Congressman Bill Sali, and it looks like it's only going to get better. On the last day of April, he defended the Patriotic citizens of Idaho from Pelosi-supported Mexican citizens by sending a letter to the Secretary of State protesting Mexico's plan to open a consulate in Boise. Although all right-thinking Patriots can see that the only reason Mexico would want to do that is to have an exit point for the Mexico-Idaho tunnel under the border fence, some Socialists still think that Mexico should be allowed to open the consulate. Bill Sali, on the other hand, knew that he had to stop this from happening, so he wrote the letter. In this act, he proved that he is better than his primary opponent, Matt "Salisbury" Steak, and his general election opponent "Wacky" Walter Mitty. Did they write letters to the Secretary of State? No they didn't! The fact that the letter was ignored makes no difference; Bill Sali alone made the effort.

Some Anti-Sali Socialists might wonder why a Christian man like Congressman Bill Sali is so opposed to illegal immigrants; they blather on and on about how Jesus said we were supposed to "love one another" and so forth. The reason is, I suspect, precisely because Bill Sali is such a respecter of the Judeo-Christian tradition -- a tradition that teaches us not to mix with people of different nationalities. The Old Testament has lots of warnings about bad things that will happen if the Jews mix with Canaanites. In the New Testament, remember how Joseph and Mary illegally immigrated to Egypt, but later they were back in Israel? It's clear to me that Jesus told them they had to go back to Israel as soon as He was able to talk! After He returned, He never left Israel again. Clearly, He was teaching His followers that they should stay in the country they were born in. Bill Sali believes that too.

Today, Bill Sali showed another reason why he's way smarter than his opponents. Wacky Walter was out today basically giving away money to strangers, while Bill Sali was collecting money from strangers who want to be his friend. Which activity would you rather do? I think most sane people would want to get free money from well-dressed people than give handouts to grubby deadbeats. Bill Sali once again shows that his values are Idaho's values!

Congressman Bill Sali Lives His Beliefs!

A lot of Congressman talk about wanting a balanced budget, but only Bill Sali, Hero of the Owyhees, is enough of a leader to actually walk the talk. Check out this article by the normally socialist Idaho Statesman, where they say:

"Sali raised $107,600 in the first three months of 2008, said campaign manager Michelle Glasgow. Minnick pulled in twice that: $227,586. Minnick spent almost as much as he took in, but at the end of the reporting period, he had $327,909 in the bank. Sali had $124,200, and his FEC filings show that he continues to owe $134,673 from his 2006 campaign."

This just shows how fiscally responsible Bill Sali is, compared to the "tax and spend" mentality of Wacky Walter Mitty. Bill Sali is within about $10,000 of balancing the budgets between his two campaigns, whereas Mitty continues to hold on to his donor's money like he knows better how to spend it. Additionally, Bill Sali knows that it better to take in money from outside of Idaho, while I bet you WWM takes most of his money from hard-working Gem Staters.

Luckily, Mitty won't get a chance to practice his socialist ideals in public life, since Bill Sali has essentially won the election already. As I said over at anti-Sali Socialist Kevin Richert's MSM blog when he wondered if WWM can unite the Democrats following Liberal Larry Grant's dropout:

"It doesn't matter if he's running against Liberal Larry Grant or Wacky Walter Mitty, Congressman Bill Sali is going to win re-election with about 90% of the vote. Why? Because he's doing what all true Idahoans want him to do, which is vote against socialist-inspired legislation and protect the freedoms we hold so dear: freedom from government negotiation of prescription drug prices, freedom from having our society destroyed by non-Christians being allowed to speak in public forums, freedom from non-prayer-based health care. That's why people from all over the country -- and even a few from Idaho -- are contributing to help re-erect Bill Sali. Also, they know he's going to be elected President in 2012."

I'm hoping President-to-be Sali remembers his best supporters when he gets elected in 2012. Not in terms of government jobs, since he'll be eliminating most of them, but in things like appointing the heads of Neighborhood Watch committees. I've been watching my neighbors a lot lately, and I think some of them might be Hindus.

True Patriots in Idaho's 1st Congressional District are showing that they're unafraid of the retribution they'll get from "college graduates" and other socialists by Standing Up to the Idaho Socialist Statesman in the Letters To The Editor section of the paper. Two Canyon County Patriots have their say in today's paper.

Robert Forrey of Nampa says: "As we see the announcements of many getting ready to run for a political office, I am reminded of how Congressman Bill Sali has been a very effective voice for Idahoans in Congress. He has pushed forward the government reform issue, doing his best to get rid of excessive spending. I appreciate all of his hard work, and I'm looking forward to his re-election this November."

Well said, Mr. Forrey! Norm Brown of Caldwell is even more verbose: "I'm seeing claims that Congressman Bill Sali is ineffective, inefficient and is not working hard for Idaho in Congress. These are not true at all, and I hope they are spoken out of ignorance. Congressman Sali is a freshman in the Republican Party, which is the minority party, and he is working against a liberal ideology in the House that is about to get worse if we don't re-elect him.
In fact, he was elected president in his freshman class of congressmen. They don't want to print the fact that his peers see him leading the way for them on issues like border control, pro-life, marriage between a man and woman, lower taxes and a smaller government. After this next presidential election, there will not be a conservative in the White House. That is why we must elect a real conservative. I, for one, see him leading the way as a real Idahoan who is a real conservative."

Bill Sali is always leading the way, whether it's defending the rights of Patriotic Americans to import 2nd Amendment-protected arms into the country without having the government inspect the shipping containers they're in or stopping terrorists from getting government-supplied health insurance. These Patriots know that the last thing Idaho needs is a Congressman in the majority party -- we're individuals, and would rather be Right than to help shape policy in Congress. That's why Nancy Pelosi is so afraid of Bill Sali and all he represents -- someone unwilling to play by the rules of Congress that have evolved over the years, someone who doesn't understand the concept of "compromise" -- these are the ideals that make Idaho great.

RINO Running Against Congressman Bill Sali

I was sure surprised today when I found out that there's someone running against Congressman Bill Sali in the Republican primary. This Republican In Name Only is Matt Salisbury ("Steak" for short), and he has the unmitigated gall to think he could better represent our District than Bill Sali. Luckily for him, he hasn't actually filed yet -- maybe he'll forget.

Salisbury claims to be an American, yet he was born in Germany. He claims to be an active duty Army veteran, but he also says he was in the National Guard -- which one is it? He claims that he's raising more money in this District than Bill Sali, but this is just silly. Do want someone who's proud of getting little donations from a limited number of people? Bill Sali is smart enough to know that you can get more money by going to rich people in other parts of the country. I want my Congressman to be smart like that.

Some will say that Steak's service in Iraq is important, but honestly, how does that compare to Bill Sali's service in the frontlines of the war against Pelosi? Has Steak ever cast a courageous vote against part of Speaker Pelosi's socialist agenda? I think not.

Remember: Vote for Bill Sali on May 27th. Otherwise, you're a Socialist Stooge.

Inspired the tenacity shown by Congressman Bill Sali in Standing Up to Pelosi, I decided that I couldn't let a little thing like a forgotten password slow me down in spreading The Truth about Bill Sali and the socialists who oppose him!

The people at the Idaho Socialist Statesman are once again trying to make it seem like it's somehow bad that Congressman Bill Sali is ranked as ineffective by some socialist organization. As all True Patriots know, it's good to be ineffective in Congress! All Congress wants to do is spend our money, and if you're not effective, it means your not getting more money spent. Idaho needs more representatives like Congressman Bill Sali!

Monitoring the various blogs of the Anti-Sali Socialists, I found a new blog by "David ", who says he wants to vote for anyone but Bill Sali! Clearly the product of the socialist Public Education system, he clearly has a lot to learn. Having not been lucky enough to have been taught by Patriots like Bryan Fischer in school, he thinks that Universal Health Care would be a good thing; he needs to learn that if God had wanted up to have Universal Health Care, he would have made it so we don't get sick. I'm gonna be keeping a close eye on him, and hopefully he'll learn that voting for Liberal Larry Grant or Wacky Walter Mitty will start Idaho down the road to a Pelosi/Satan-inspired society of forced socialism and bestiality. He should investigate the unimpeachable logic of Congresman Bill Sali and know that God wants him to vote for a True Patriot who is probably going to be elected President in 2012 -- Bill Sali.

A Great Year for Congressman Bill Sali

This certainly has been a splendiferous year for Congressman Bill Sali as he stands up to Pelosi! Even the Idaho Socialist Statesman had to admit how effective he's been at single-handedly stopping Speaker Pelosi's plan to socialize America with his incredible speaking ability and command of the official English language. Here's how Congressman Sali explains his core guiding belief:

"Here's what I was trying to say: that our country was founded on principles that the founding fathers derived largely from Scripture and among them, by the way, was religious freedom," he said. "Everybody who is involved in public policy brings a philosophy to the plate. And when you start bringing philosophy that runs counter to what the Founding Fathers employed ... in putting this country together, then that's not what the Founding Fathers envisioned."

Brilliant! No one could argue with his powerful logic!

I also got an E-mail directly from Congressman Sali's office with effusive praise from a powerful Republican leader, Rep. Roy Blount. Here's some of what the E-mail had to say about the Hero of the Owyhees:

"Congressman Sali successfully convinced the Bureau of Land Management to reverse a decision barring recreational shooting on public lands in southwestern Idaho. Sali also advocated on behalf of recreational users of Lake Cascade, drafted and introduced legislation to protect home and property owners from dangerous wildfires that burn on federally-administered lands and has drafted and introduced several pieces of legislation to change the way Congress does business."

Every non-socialist knows that if you don't have recreational shooters on public lands, only criminals will be shooting on public lands. Bill Sali is the only Congressman willing to stand up to the government bureaucrats in ensuring everyone can shoot darn near any direction they want here in SW Idaho, just like our Founding Fathers intended. You just don't see California Democrats in Congress caring about our district the way Bill Sali does.

Bill Sali Knows Best!

Congressman Bill Sali wrote a newspaper article of such stunning brilliance and erudite sipidity that the socialists at the Idaho Socialist Statesman had no choice but to publish it. Here's some of what he said.

"Not long ago, I voted against bills containing billions of dollars in wasteful spending. These were plainly hard votes. On one hand, the bills contained projects that I directly fought for and supported, including money for a detox center in Boise, for the nursing program at Northwest Nazarene University in Nampa, for improvements at Gritman Medical Center in Moscow and for improvements to U.S. 95. On the other hand, those good projects were craftily bundled with waste and bloated spending to achieve passage of those projects that would never pass if proposed separately.
"As a freshman congressman, I am proud to have successfully advocated for these Idaho projects. I'm also proud that the Idaho delegation secured $8 million in support of the 2009 Special Olympics World Winter Games, an exciting event and one Idaho is proud to host.
"I am a strong supporter of those games just like the majority of Idahoans and Americans. My very first bill that received the approval by the House was one recognizing Idaho's selection as host of the 2009 World Winter Games."

Congressman Bill Sali knows that government spending is always bad, unless it's being used to encourage morality. He also knows that it encourages morality to send money from socialist states like California and Wisconsin to a God-fearing state like Idaho. And despite the whining from anti-Sali Socialist "Wordsmith", Bill Sali knows that the Constitution doesn't mention anything about Congressional "resolutions", so therefore what he had passed was obviously a bill. "Wordsmith" was clearly one of those socialists whose parents didn't let her watch Saturday cartoons, so that explains why she doesn't know about how Congress works.

Later on Congressman Sali says:

"Those same bills that contained funding for my Idaho projects also contained wasteful and outlandish programs that Idahoans should not be forced to subsidize with their hard-earned money: $1 million in funding for the naming of a public policy center after former Sen. Tom Daschle, $400,000 for jazz at Lincoln Center in New York City, and enough money to give the bureaucrats at the U.S. Department of Education raises on top of the $95,300 the average bureaucrat there already earns. That's almost twice the salary of the average teacher in America.
"Idaho taxpayers would also have been stuck paying $335,000 for the historic preservation of a baseball field in Montana, $301,500 for the International Peace Garden in North Dakota and $100,00 for signage in Los Angeles' High Fashion District.
"There are no parades for those who vote against spending money in Congress. There are no celebrations when excessive spending is defeated. Nonetheless, I am convinced Americans still agree with Thomas Jefferson.
"They know it would have been wrong for me to take pride in any success for Idaho, knowing the costs that Jefferson would have "pruned" were part of the price tag. While it was politically hard for me to vote no, I knew it was the right thing to do."

Bill Sali always puts his principles ahead of political expediency, just like his patriotic Idaho constituents want him to do. Congressman Bill Sali was recently appointed to monitor all High Tech governmental initiatives, as I found out from an E-mail I got from his staff. Here's what it said:

WASHINGTON, D.C. – House Republican Leader John Boehner has named Congressman Bill Sali to his High-Tech Working Group, which is charged with expanding economic opportunities in America based on the use of advanced technology.
“In the short time he’s been in office, Congressman Sali has demonstrated an uncanny ability to find commonsense solutions to complex problems,” Boehner said. “Bill is creative, knowledgeable and has a real knack working together with divergent interests in order to benefit his constituents and the nation.”
Boehner has charged the High-Tech Working Group with looking at long-term, creative ways to use technology to benefit the entire economy. The panel is expected to look at how technology is or will impact healthcare, agriculture, engineering, office management and other aspects of daily life.
“I’m honored that Leader Boehner would appoint me to this position,” Sali said. “He is taking a very visionary approach to critical issues facing our country. A Busy Day For Congressman Bill Sali!

Yesterday Congressman Sali sure earned his salary! First, he sustained the President's veto of the Socialist-CHIP bill that would have given government health care to those who probably don't deserve it, including Al Qaeda terrorists and lawbreakers. Congressman Sali knows that no one should get their health insurance provided by the government, and paying for it by taxing honest citizens who enjoy a good legal smoke is totally wrong. (It's just my opinion, but I think those "scientists" who claim some sort of link between smoking and lung cancer are the same ones who missed the proven link between abortion and breast cancer.)

Next, he Stood Up To Pelosi by exercising his Constitutional right to give an interview to non-socialist newsman "DFO". He really nailed all the questions, proving logically and Biblically that his opinion was the only real one that mattered. My question didn't get asked, but hopefully it will be included in the ones that get sent to his office. (I was disappointed to see that Congressman Sali doesn't read blogs himself, but hopefully his staff reads this one. If you're from Congressman Sali's office: Hi!)

Finally, the biggest news is that President Bush personally called Congressman Sali to the White House to get advice on lots of topics! As the President of his Class, Bill Sali has an important leadership role in the House that not even Speaker Pelosi can take away from him. I hope the meeting was in the Oval Office, so that Congressman Sali got to see the office he'll be working in someday!

Congressman Bill Sali is always ready to Stand Up for everything that's right and good about this country, and one of the best things about the USA is that most people don't ever think about sex. That's not the case for the socialists at the Idaho Socialist Statesman, though. Today, they're spending all their web resources vainly trying to get people to believe that Senator Larry Craig wanted to have sex with a man, and making the good people of Idaho think about prostitution and how it can be found on the Internet.

The saddest part of the paper's gutter-mindedness was how they tried to tear down a young woman entrapped by the police on trumped-up prostitution charges in an online story. Here's the young woman in question:

I ask you, does this woman look like a prostitute? She looks like someone who, if she met the right preacher of the right kind of church would be shouting out "Oh, God, yes, Jesus" at the top of her lungs given the right encouragement. The police claim that her Craigslist ad (I guess it's some sort of E-Bay for one city) is really an invitation for "johns", but I can't see it -- there aren't any dollar signs, and since prostitution means sex for money, no money means no prostitution. Plus, she has one of those "MySpace" pages, where it doesn't mention prostitution at all; in fact, it says she's a student.

I really hope that Congressman Sali continues Standing Up to the filth that the Statesman publishes. Tomorrow, he's going to spend some time answering questions online at a non-socialist paper's website; maybe if the Boise paper would straighten up their act, he'd do the same thing for them.

Standing Up for Senator Larry Craig and the "Wide Stance"

Those of you who can still stand getting your news from the liberal media have probably seen reports that Idaho's Senator Larry Craig is being unfairly targetted by the press because of a simple misunderstanding in Minnesota (a known bastion of socialism). While I'm not surprised that the normal collection of socialists is unconstitutionally calling for Sen. Craig to be forced from office, I'm disappointed to see several Patriots (like Adam Graham, Clayton Cramer, Bryan Fischer, and Halli) falling for Speaker Pelosi's obvious plan to force this honorable man from office so she can appoint someone like Liberal Larry Grant to take his place in the Senate. These Patriots should have followed the advice of Idaho's Head Patriot, Congressman Bill Sali, who said through his spokesman: "It is prudent to not rush to judgment, to give Sen. Craig an opportunity to respond and to give him the benefit of the doubt."

It seems like a lot of people are rushing to judgment without applying any logic. If you think about it, you'll see clearly that these charges that Senator Craig is some sort of pole-smoking turd burglar must be completely fabricated. Consider this: Senator Craig is married. Since married men have sex with women, it follows logically that they don't have sex with men. This in and of itself is enough to show that Senator Larry Craig doesn't have a hankerin' for some anonymous slab of man-meat tickling his Senatorial tonsils.

Senator Craig explained most eloquently today why he had to mislead the socialist judge in Minnesota by signing a plea petition saying he knew he was guilty when in fact he was innocent of the charges. The reason, as all right-thinking people already knew, was that the media (clearly working under Pelosi's orders) forced him to do it! By investigating earlier claims of knob gobbling by Senator Craig and asking him about them, the socialist reporters of the Idaho Socialist Statesman left Sen. Craig with no choice but to investigate the world of depravity they claimed he was part of, if only to be better able to disprove their charges later. Even if it turns out that Sen. Craig did at some point engage in some cock-thirsty gloryholing as part of his research, it was clearly only because of the suggestions from the reporters that he learn to appreciate that lifestyle.

Many people have criticized Senator Craig for his explanation that he was only touching the foot of the undercover policeman because he takes a "wide stance" in the toilet. I find this highly believable, because I, too, find that a wide stance gives me more leverage in getting out the really stubborn turds. Since Senator Craig is an older guy, I bet it's even more of a problem for him. So, it really comes down to the word of the Senator vs. the arresting officer. What do we really know about his truthfulness, anyway? Is he really a police officer?

I think you can tell that it's fairly apparent what really happened. Speaker Pelosi, wanting to get back at Congressman Bill Sali for standing up to her so effectively, hired an actor to falsely accuse Sali's ally Senator Craig of attempted rump rangering, and then had her minions spike Sen. Craig's food with drugs to make him plead guilty. It's the only logical explanation!

I have complete faith that, with Bill Sali's help, Senator Larry Craig will come through this ordeal stronger than he ever was, and will continue to stand up - with a wide stance - for Idaho values in the Senate and its restrooms. And, even if he doesn't survive politically and ends up resigning, that would just mean that Bill Sali will be able to win election to his seat in 2008 and will have even more power than he does now. Pelosi's plans are thwarted again!

Bill Sali Speaks the Truth to Pelosi's Power

Congressman Bill Sali, the most stalwart defender of American values in the godless Democrat-controlled Congress, is once again standing up to Pelosi and her plan to destroy America through demanding Hindu prayers in the Senate and ordering the election of Muslims to the House.

In a recent radio interview, Congressman Bill Sali spoke out against the dangerous precedent of allowing a non-Christian into Congress in any capacity.

"Last month, the U.S. Senate was opened for the first time ever with a Hindu prayer. Although the event generated little outrage on Capitol Hill, Representative Bill Sali (R-Idaho) is one member of Congress who believes the prayer should have never been allowed.
"We have not only a Hindu prayer being offered in the Senate, we have a Muslim member of the House of Representatives now, Keith Ellison from Minnesota. Those are changes -- and they are not what was envisioned by the Founding Fathers," asserts Sali.
Sali says America was built on Christian principles that were derived from scripture. He also says the only way the United States has been allowed to exist in a world that is so hostile to Christian principles is through "the protective hand of God."
"You know, the Lord can cause the rain to fall on the just and the unjust alike," says the Idaho Republican.
According to Congressman Sali, the only way the U.S. can continue to survive is under that protective hand of God. He states when a Hindu prayer is offered, "that's a different god" and that it "creates problems for the longevity of this country."

Congressman Sali started standing up for God and America when he refused to take the oath of office on the Koran. Now, as Bryan Fischer of the Idaho Values Alliance points out, Hindus and Muslims really don't fit in with America.

"Hindus believe in a virtually infinite number of gods and worship cows, monkeys and snakes, while our Founding Fathers believed in one God, the Creator God revealed in the Old and New Testaments.
We pledge allegiance to “one nation under God,” not to “one nation under gods.” Quite simply, Hindus, who of course are free in America to worship as many gods and animals as they would like, do not pray to or worship the God who is enshrined in our Declaration of Independence.
Rep. Sali recognizes that congressional invocations are not just ceremonial in nature, but substantive. They are one of the crucial ways in which our leaders seek the favor of the same God who granted us such signal blessings at the time of our founding and for over 200 years since.
And Congressman Sali’s caution with regard to Islam and public policy is wise. When you examine nations whose public institutions have been shaped by Islamic politicians, you find no freedom of religion, no freedom of speech, no freedom of conscience, no fundamental rights for women, and no freedom for ordinary citizens to choose their leaders."

While there are those anti-Sali socialists who believe that the Constitution contains some sort of prohibition on a "religious test", it's clear that the Founding Fathers believed that only Christians of northern European descent should serve in Congress. If we fall into Pelosi's trap of accepting Muslims in Congress, pretty soon we'll have lots of people who don't believe in the divinity of Jesus Christ in the House or even the Senate -- and then where will we be? Congressman Sali points out that only the protective hand of God protects us; those who believe we're protected by wide oceans and a strong military are just fooling themselves. After all, how long have Hindu and Muslim countries like India and Saudi Arabia been able to survive without God's protection?

Anti-Sali Socialists just don't get it

The usual suspects were all up in arms earlier this week over the retirement of Congressman Bill Sali's loyal district director, former State Senator Gerry Sweet. Egged on by the "political" writer in the local fishwrap, the reality-impaired screamers were coming up with some ridiculous ideas about what made Sen. Sweet retire from his job after only six months. "Commie Red" State Rebel had the unbelievable idea that it was because of some gun show -- an idea that Pro-American Patriot Adam Graham easily shot down. Mountain Goat thought it was because Gerry was using his government computer to sell guns over the internet. That's an idea so dumb that only someone who thinks government should regulate businesses could come up with that one.

The real reason Sen. Sweet decided to move on seems clear to me. Sen. Sweet, like Rep. Sali, knows that the federal government is bad (except when it's keeping homosexuals from having sex). It's clear to me that God told him that he shouldn't continue accepting a tainted paycheck from the government that unjustly seizes our incomes. Since he's not independently wealthy like Congressman Sali, he still has to make money to support his young family -- unlike Rep. Sali, who I'm sure is returning his paycheck for being a Congressman in order to reduce our taxes. It's really simple when you think about it.

In the paper today, Rep. Bill Sali really puts secular humanist and socialist Kevin Richert in his place in a guest editorial:

"During the last five months, I have had the honor of representing Idahoans in Congress. In those few short months, much to my chagrin, the 110th Congress has already approved some $60 billion in new spending and a contingent of new programs on which that money was spent, thus making big government even bigger.
As Idaho Statesman editorial writer Kevin Richert points out in his column from last week, yes, I have cast many "no" votes. Kevin says that's a bad thing. I respectfully disagree. I'm proud of every one of those no votes, because they are votes against bigger government, higher taxes and wasteful spending. I think the people of Idaho elected me precisely because I promised to vote that way when I got to Washington, D.C. I was not elected to vote with the new Democratic majority. I was not elected to vote unthinkingly with my party — or even my president. I was elected to Congress to cast votes that represent the views of Idaho's 1st Congressional District, not Nancy Pelosi's California 8th.
I was elected to Congress to do what's right, not what's easy. It would be easy to sit back and vote for the all the neat-sounding legislation that comes to us. But that's how bad legislation gets passed. Just slap a compelling name on it and dare congressmen to vote no. Who can vote against the Small Business Lending Improvements Act? Or the Sowing the Seeds Through Science and Engineering Research Act? Or the Torture Victims Relief Reauthorization Act?
You can if you read beyond the cutesy title. The Small Business Lending Improvements Act actually is a significant expansion of government. More than that, the bill calls on the Small Business Administration to pick the "winners and losers" in the private sector, providing grants based on arbitrary and pre-determined government quotas and not on real needs.
The Sowing the Seeds Through Science and Engineering Research Act sounds almost poetic. But did you know that it would increase federal spending by more than a billion dollars, would create three new government programs and would duplicate existing — and in some cases, not very effective — science and engineering programs?
And how about that Torture Victims Relief Reauthorization Act? We all abhor torture, right? I do. And that's why I don't want the United Nations to get the $12 million in the bill to help torture victims. The United Nations is the same organization that botched its oversight of the Oil for Food program at a cost of billions. The United Nations mismanages and squanders money consistently and on a huge scale and shouldn't be given more from American taxpayers. The issue for the United Nations is not more funding but its urgent need for financial integrity, transparency and efficiency.
The essential problem with our current Congress is its inability to say no. Unfortunately, this weakness apparently knows no party, as the Republican-controlled Congress exhibited the same problem at times. This federal government, with Congress at the wheel, keeps creating new government programs and spending billions of dollars to fund them. Then, after everyone has patted themselves on the back for creating those new programs, they lament that our federal deficit is too big and our taxes too high. Worse, in just a few short years, we will likely have an investigation to determine why these federal government programs are such abysmal failures. To correct the failures, Congress will likely then vote to expand the program that failed in the first place. Once expanded, Congress will have to vote to raise your taxes in order to subsidize the now expanded, yet failing, federal government program.
Clearly the federal government is broken and Americans really want to see it fixed. I intend to work to make those fixes happen. Let's face it -- if it weren't for Representative Bill Sali standing up to Pelosi, who knows how many more hundreds of billions of dollars Congress would have spent. It's only fear of Congressman Bill Sali and his "no" votes that keeps Pelosi from doing even worse.

Sali's vote against the so-called "Torture Victims Relief Reauthorization Act" is a bad thing, or that the fact that he is one of only seven brave Congressmen to stand up to Pelosi is somehow wrong. The fact is that no one goes around torturing people just for the fun of it, and these people who have been tortured probably did something to deserve it. It's just like liberals to try to throw money at so-called "victims" who should be taking responsibility for their choices instead of whining for government handouts.

Sorry for not posting much lately, but there hasn't been much news on Rep. Bill Sali's ongoing battle against Nancy Pelosi. Today, though, the Idaho Statesman broke their long silence to put out this article on how great Congressman Sali has been doing. Here's some of what they said:

"One hundred days into Sali's term in Congress, the combative evangelical conservative remains as determined as ever to "reform" the Beltway culture, though so far with little of his trademark bluster.
As if to prove the point, one of his first acts in Washington was to get himself elected GOP freshman class president. It's a largely ceremonial post, but his press secretary, Wayne Hoffman, said it "says a lot about his ability to get along and build relationships."

And this:

"• He called a Democratic budget plan a "vicious money grab" because he believes it will lead to tax increases. He suggested that some Democratic proposals on global warming might be "mere ideology, zealotry in the name of environmental extremism." And on the Democrats' opposition to Bush's troop surge in Iraq, he said, "No is not a plan."
• On key votes so far: Sali voted against a war spending bill that sets timelines for withdrawal of U.S. troops from Iraq; against a bill repealing tax breaks for oil companies; and against a bill allowing the government to negotiate directly with drug makers for lower prescription drug prices under Medicare.
• On immigration, an issue that has divided Republicans, Sali joined with 87 House members in backing a bill to make English the nation's "official language." He also signed a letter with 96 other lawmakers opposing a path to amnesty or any other kind of legal status for undocumented workers."

Way to go, Congressman Bill Sali! Of course, the liberal/socialist Statesman tried to make Rep. Sali look bad, but they couldn't. They even tried to make it hard to get to the list of all the votes Congressman Sali has made, but I got through -- here's where you can go to see all his principled conservative votes. I was especially impressed to see that he stood up against Pelosi to protect our freedom to do with our animals what we will, as God intended, by voting against the socialist "Animal Fighting Prevention Enforcement Act". Although he was joined by only 38 other God-fearing Congressmen, his strong stand against Pelosi was heard loud and clear here in Idaho!

Liberal Larry Grant Wants To Lose Again

While Congressman Bill Sali is continuing to stand up to Pelosi (helped by God, who's sending the right messages by punishing the "people" of San Francisco), the loser of the last election, "Liberal Larry" Grant, is planning to try to run against Rep. Sali again. Here's what it says in "The Hill":

"While a number of factors will play into his decision, it mostly boils down to weighing his odds. Put simply: If he thinks he can win, he’s likely to run. And winning in a presidential election year will not be easy.
“We’re from a very red state, so a guy would like to have a chance of winning,” Grant said. “That depends on a lot of things, like how well the Democrats do in Congress. [House Speaker] Nancy [Pelosi] (D-Calif.) and crew seem to be doing pretty well right now.
“It’ll also depend, more importantly, on Mr. Sali and his record.”
Indeed, despite his vacationing, Grant has detailed knowledge of Sali’s votes thus far, noting that Sali has “voted against everything except ethics reform and the resolution honoring the Boise State Broncos” football team, which won college football’s Fiesta Bowl."

Well, he's going to lose, so he shouldn't even plan on running. When the people of Idaho see that Rep. Sali was on the other side of Pelosi on almost every contested vote, they won't care that his side didn't win any of those votes -- we just want someone to send a message. And Congressman Bill Sali is just the man to do it!

Congressman Sali had a Great Week!

It was a banner week for Congressman Bill Sali as he stood up to Pelosi in opposing her "Six for Socialism" bills to start the Congress. Despite the fact that it took teh Democrats over 200 hours to force all the bills through, they still claim that they did it in less than 100 "legislative" hours, whatever that means. Just another example of the Democrats not being able to tell time.

Congressman Sali stood his ground and fought Pelosi tooth and nail over these bills:

1) Implementing the 9/11Commission Recommendations Act: Bill Sali fought for the rights of law-abiding Americans to transport explosives or other 2nd Amendment protected arms on ships.
2) Fair Minimum Wage Act: Bill Sali used his most flowery oratorical skills to prove that the minimum wage was against Natural Law; we know he was good because the Idaho Socialist Statesman tried to make fun of him. Bill Sali knows that the minimum wage was first enacted in 1938, and that because of the violation of Natural Law inherent in this evil socialist program, our economy has never been the same.
3) Stem Cell Research Enhancement Act: Bill Sali knows that people are healed because of their faith in God, not some "medical research". He agrees with all right-thinking people that we should kill criminals, not babies.
4) Medicare Prescription Drug Price Negotiation Act: If there's anything that's against Natural Law, it's the concept that consumers should be able to negotiate with businesses for a "better" price. Congressman Sali knows that the only real functions of government should be to keep gay people from getting married and protecting us from Canadian prescription drugs.
5) College Student Relief Act: Here, Rep. Sali was one of only 71 Republicans with enough guts to stand up to Pelosi. While Congressman Sali's Chief of Staff came up with a "politically correct" answer for why he voted against it, I figure the real reason is that Bill knows that kids who go to college will only have their heads filled with liberal claptrap from socialist professors. No one needs that.
6) Creating Long-Term Energy Alternatives for the Nation Act: Bill Sali knows the oil companies are doing important work, and shouldn't have to pay taxes at all -- and Pelosi wants to raise them!

One vote that Congressman Sali made this week did kind of disappoint me -- he voted to congratulate the Florida Gators for "winning" the football national championship, when everyone knows that the Boise State Broncos are the real national champion.

A lot of anti-Americans have written into the paper to complain about Congressman Sali. The Statesman is showing their true colors by not printing a single letter from Sali supporters. One of the socialists said that Bill wasn't worth what he's being paid, but that's stupid. I'm sure Congressman Sali is donating his paycheck to a worthy cause; it's not like he needs the money, as even this anti-Sali blogger admits.

Congressman Bill Sali once again proved that he's willing to stand up to Nancy Pelosi as she attempts to destroy America. Today, he voted against the "Implementing the 9/11Commission Recommendations Act", which will destroy our freedom from government searches of cargo patriotic Americans (and others) may want to bring into our ports. While the bill passed 299-128, it's clear that Rep. Sali's opposition prevented Pelosi from claiming a major victory. Had "Liberal Larry" Grant been elected, the vote would have been 300-127, and Pelosi could have claimed some sort of 300 vote mandate. Unfortunately, Idaho's other Congressman, Mike Simpson, voted for Pelosi. As far as I'm concerned, there's no such thing as a Republican for Pelosi's Bills. They are Democrats!

Bill Sali Now A Congressman

It looks like it's going to be a great year! First of all, as I predicted, Boise St. easily beat Oklahoma in the Fiesta Bowl in the greatest game of all time. Now, if Florida can beat Ohio St., BSU will be the national champions!

It's also great because, as of today, Bill Sali is officially a Congressman, so he'll be able to start "officially" standing up to Nancy Pelosi. I was a little disappointed that Congressman Sali wasn't able to keep her from being elected as Speaker of the House, but the vote shows how important it was that Idaho sent a Republican to Congress instead of Liberal Larry Grant. If Grant had been there, Pelosi would have gotten 234 votes instead of 233, and that would have been a much easier number for liberals to remember.

It looks like Rep. Sali is already taking the lead in standing up to Pelosi. First of all, he gave a speech on TV today where he talked about introducing a balanced budget amendment. That just shows how much we need him in the House; otherwise, it's unlikely that bill would have been introduced. Bill Sali will be able to show the liberals that we can still cut taxes while cutting spending if we just stop giving away money to people who don't deserve it. I was a little surprised that Rep. Sali said he'd try to work with the Democrats; I figure that's just his way of setting them up for his later attacks.

Congressman Sali next stood up to Pelosi during his ceremonial swearing in. Right in front of Nancy Pelosi, he bravely put his hand on a Bible like a good American (and unlike this guy, who used a Koran -- he should go back to where he came from if he doesn't want to use a Bible). Even more importantly, he had his 7 year old grandson there -- a grandson who has both a mother and a father, which is something Nancy Pelosi is against. Congressman Bill Sali isn't going to swear on a Koran or make his grandson's parents get divorced and go gay just because it would make Nancy Pelosi happy!

The new Congressman Sali website is up now, but it doesn't seem to have much on it. I suppose it's really hard for Rep. Sali to get very good help in D.C., with all those Democrats who live there.

This Congressman Makes Sense

I love what this Congressman from Virginia wrote in a letter to his constituents.

In it, Goode wrote, "When I raise my hand to take the oath on Swearing In Day, I will have the Bible in my other hand. I do not subscribe to using the Quran in any way.
"The Muslim representative from Minnesota was elected by the voters of that district and if American citizens don't wake up and adopt the Virgil Goode position on immigration there will likely be many more Muslims elected to office and demanding the use of the Quran.
"We need to stop illegal immigration totally and reduce legal immigration and end the diversity visas policy pushed hard by President Clinton and allowing many persons from the Middle East to come to this country.
"I fear that in the next century we will have many more Muslims in the United States if we do not adopt the strict immigration policies that I believe are necessary to preserve the values and beliefs traditional to the United States of America and to prevent our resources from being swamped."
He added, "The Ten Commandments and 'In God We Trust' are on the wall in my office. A Muslim student came by the office and asked why I did not have anything on my wall about the Quran.
"My response was clear, 'As long as I have the honor of representing the citizens of the 5th District of Virginia in the United States House of Representatives, the Quran is not going to be on the wall of my office.' "

This sounds pretty much like Bill Sali's position on this issue. I expect to see him stand up to Pelosi by joining Congressman Goode in standing up for the Bible. These people who expect him to apologize are anti-American. People like Virgil Goode and Bill Sali for sure aren't going to worship Allah; they're going to worship the God of Abraham, like all good people.

Going To The Fiesta Bowl

I know a lot of people here in Idaho are excited about Boise State playing Oklahoma in the Fiesta Bowl, but I'm still disappointed we aren't playing Ohio State like we should be. Still, it will be nice to say "I told you so" to all the Doubting Thomas's after BSU beats Oklahoma by 30 or 35 points, like I know they will.

The Bill Sali Interview

I have to admit I was a little disappointed in the Bill Sali interview in The Idaho Statesman. While he said lots of good things, I didn't see anything about his plans to make sure Nancy Pelosi of San Francisco doesn't get elected as Speaker of the House. He probably didn't say anything because it's a secret, though. My guess is he'll use his 16 years of legislative experience to find a House rule that will keep there from being a vote for Speaker, so Speaker Hastert will be able to continue in his role. It should be exciting next month!

Bill Sali Gives An Interview

Normally I don't read the Idaho Statesman, because it's filled with so much liberal hogwash. Today, though, I went to their website to see if they had a weather forecast, and I saw an article that made me both happy and nervous. Apparently Congressman Sali gave them an interview, and they'll be printing it tomorrow.
While I'm a little worried that they'll try to twist his words to make him sound foolish, I know I should have faith that Bill is smart enough to out-smart them if they try. So, I'll actually buy a copy of the Statesman tomorrow to see what he has to say.
Here's what the article on their web site says:

Idaho’s newest congressman, Republican Rep.-elect Bill Sali, says he has a lot to learn about the way Congress works, but says he'll stick to his conservative principles.
In an interview with the Idaho Statesman, Sali says he'll consider himself a successful U.S. House member "if I can continue to get up and look in the mirror and like the guy I see in the mirror."
Sali ran on a slate of conservative values and by telling Idahoans that a vote for a his Democratic opponent was a vote to put Democrats — and San Francisco liberal Nancy Pelosi — in power. Democrats won both houses of Congress, and Pelosi will be House speaker.
Sali has few hopes that he can find much common ground with the Democrats, but says his “political sadism” could help him make a difference on Medicaid and other complex issues many lawmakers shy away from.

I think that "political sadism" will serve him well in standing up to Pelosi.

Broncos Going To BCS

Now that the BSU Broncos have completed their regular season in which no one even came close to them, it's time for people to stop being happy that we're going to get invited to a BCS bowl. The truth is, unless Boise St. gets its spot in the national title game against the only other undefeated team (Ohio State, who barely won their last game), it's just more proof that the liberal voters on the coast aren't ready to give a conservative state like Idaho the respect they deserve.

They say that BSU is going to the Fiesta Bowl against the winner of the Nebraska-Oklahoma game. Boise State will easily beat any of those teams, so they don't even need to play the game. Everyone knows how the Broncos beat Oregon State. Well, Oregon completed demolished Oklahoma, and Oregon got their butts kicked by Oregon State. And Oregon St. also beat USC really bad, and USC beat Nebraska. That's the kind of proof that the bowl people don't look at.

If Boise State doesn't get into the title game against Ohio State, I think that Congress needs to investigate what's going on.

I don't know why all these east and west coast sports people are talking about Ohio State playing USC, Michigan, or Florida in teh championship game. Since there are only two undefeated teams left, it's obvious that Ohio State should play Boise State. While all the gambling people might say Ohio State would be favored, I think Boise State would win by one or two touchdowns. Those Buck Eyes wouldn't have seen anyone like Ian Johnson before, and they wouldn't know what hit them!

Bill Sali -- Class President!

All those naysayers who thought Congressman-elect Sali couldn't get elected to anything outside of Idaho were proven wrong today. Because of the leadership he's shown in standing up to Ms. Pelosi, he was honored by being elected President of his class! I don't know how many new Republicans there are in Congress this year, but it's probably dozens. Ms. Pelosi's in for a surprise when the vote for Speaker of the House comes up -- Bill Sali's not going to roll over and vote for her like "Liberal Larry" Grant would of!

Bill Sali Alone In Standing Up To Pelosi

There's this liberal Internet rag called "New West Boise" that is trying to spin Congressman-elect Sali's latest challenge to Ms. Pelosi's plan to destroy the country.

New beginnings have their awkward moments, and this week's congressional leadership elections are no exception. But the sight of Speaker-elect Pelosi clasping hands in victory with her rival, Majority Leader-elect Hoyer, was not the only gawky episode Thursday. Earlier that day, freshman Rep.-elect Bill Sali, R-Idaho, showed up a day early and in the wrong place -- the Democratic Caucus meeting. Sali, a goateed, conservative state legislator whose reputation for political combat preceded him to Washington, said he was following the schedule provided to him by the House Administration Committee, and so headed to room 345 in the Cannon House Office Building after attending a prayer breakfast. "They'd been very good until then," Sali said of the committee. The committee couldn't confirm the mix-up. A spokesman for the Democratic Caucus said Sali didn't gain access to the room but was treated cordially. "What's the word ... he was pleasantly redirected,"said a Caucus spokesperson. It must have been in a general direction. "I asked the Democrats where the Republicans were meeting, and they didn't know," Sali said.

I seriously doubt that's the way it really happened. My guess is that Sali went there to Stand Up for Conservative Principles, and let Pelosi know that he was going to oppose her. Of course, the liberals have to try to spin this to make it look like Congressman-elect Sali is some sort of not smart person. They're going to be surprised when Bill Sali single-handedly blocks Pelosi's anti-American and anti-God schemes!

BSU Beat San Jose St. Just Like Sali Will Beat Pelosi

As I was reading the stories of Boise St. putting the smackdown on San Jose St. this weekend, I realized that San Jose, like Congressperson Pelosi, is from the San Francisco Bay area. Just like the Broncos demolished the Spartans, Congressman Sali is going to single-handedly destroy Pelosi's plans for the socialization of America. He's already in D.C., and I know that Pelosi is running scared.

And why is it that the liberal coastal media aren't giving Boise State a chance to make the national championship game? They're talking about Rutgers possibly making it into the title game, but no one mentions BSU. The way Boise St. demolished Oregon St., who then beat up on USC, the Broncos would be a 30 point favorite over USC. We could easily beat Ohio State if we got a chance.

A New Era In Idaho Politics

I'm so excited about the election results this Tuesday in Idaho. While lots of my co-workers were talking about how they were going to vote against Bill Sali for Congress, I knew the God-fearing people of Idaho would elect Bill Sali. The reason they would was that he would be the only person to stand up against Nancy Pelosi and the San Francisco liberals. Bill said he'd do exactly that when he won the race, so I created this "blog" to show all those liberals out there that he's a man of his word! I bet Nancy Pelosi is just quivering in her girdle knowing that Bill Sali is coming to town!
